Juniors Pd 3 & 4: HW #6 pgs. 111-131
This chapter is about Pauline Breedlove-- the narrator switches from a third person narrator to a first person narrator throughout.  The first person narration is in italics.
1.  What is the difference between the information found in the third person narration and the first person narration?  Why do you think that Morrison chose to do this?
2. How did Pauline and Cholly meet?  What do you think of their relationship? Include information found at the end of the chapter.
3.  How did the movies change Pauline's outlook on life?
4.  What was Pauline's relationship to her children, even from the beginning?
5.  Why does Pauline love working for the Fishers so much?

Juniors Pd 7 and 9: HW #4
Finish your paragraphs regarding the "I Have a Dream" speech. Some of you may have finished in class. In that case, you have nothing to do tonight! :-)

Seniors Pd 6 (due Friday):
HW # 10
Read pgs 104-115
1. Describe Elie's father's last days.
2. Describe the anti-climax of liberation (an anti-climax is an ending that you would expect to be exciting, but is not).
