Using the peer editing rubric as a guide, please edit and comment on the two sample essays. Please do not write on the actual sheet though. We will need that for tomorrow.
Set up your looseleaf paper as follows:
Sample A- Short Essay
Meaning 14/20-- because...
Development 13/20-- because...
Organization __/20
Language Use __/20
Conventions __/20
Then do the same for the long essay.
You may print copies of the peer editing rubric and a copy of the two sample essays if you need to.
HW #2 ESL- Edit and comment on the short essay.
Vocab Quiz #1 on Friday 9/20
HW #3- Submit rewritten essay by Friday 9/20 (typed is nice, but not required.)
